Dirty & Divine: a
transformative journey through tarot
There is something sacred within you, in all that you are
and all that you do. In a mix of you that is everyday dirty, and spiritually
divine, there is something so perfect, something more. Welcome to your journey
back home; to your dirty, divine passage back to you.
Wherever you are, whether beginner or seasoned tarot
practitioner, Dirty & Divine is written for you, to accompany you on a
powerful personal intuitive journey to plumb the depths of your existence and
encompass the spectrum of wisdom that the cards can offer.
Dirty & Divine is a tarot-led vision quest to reclaiming
your femininity in all its lucid and colourful depths.
Dirty & Divine takes us on an adventure through the
magical world of tarot cards. Divination comes from the Latin verb 'divinare'
and literally means 'being inspired by a god'. You could say that tarot is one
means of putting images and words to the voices of Divine beings that offer a
higher perspective on human life on Earth! As always Grist is brave, funny and
very honest! You are in very good hands on this journey into mystery and will
discover the down-to-earth everyday benefits of tarot cards.

For anyone investing time, energy and passion in the journey
through the tarot this is a wonderful book with a no nonsense and well-grounded
attitude. I love the way Alice has so eloquently woven the tapestry of her life
into the tarot to assist the reader in understanding how life situations blend
with each of the tarot cards. For the beginner, this is a wonderful way of
retaining the information relating to the card meanings, making it easy for
them to revert back to the life situation for reference and understanding. The
book is split into manageable, easy to understand sections from the intuitive
sense of the card to Alice's own journey, harnessing their power and finally
the Dirty & Divine Spell-words to reinforce their meaning. I love this book
because it has such a different and refreshing approach to learning the tarot.

Dirty & Divine asks you to leave everything you know
about tarot at the door, kick off your heels and pour yourself a cocktail.
Forget fortune telling and learning key words, this is a real and raw look into
the tarot, how it works and how it can help us understand modern life. Alice
shares her own story with honesty, looking at both the shadow ('dirty') and
light ('divine') sides of herself and encourages us to do the same for real
transformation and even more importantly, understanding of the self. Reading
Dirty & Divine was like a night in with your incredibly clever and cool best
mate, getting deep and meaningful over a deck of cards and reclaiming the
Goddess within, both sides of her, dirty and divine.
- New Age Hipster
Alice has been my go-to woman for tarot readings for years
now, because her truth, knowledge + wisdom are the REAL DEAL. In reading this
book, and what Alice shares within the dirty + divine pages of it, you will
have direct access to all that she knows (FYI: that's a lot), but what I find
REALLY juicy about it, is that you'll experience how to use the cards + the
stories, metaphors, signs + symbols they hold as a tool to help you remember
your power. The fierce self-love, the courageous + wild truth of who you were
before you forgot. Let Alice, the high priestess of the tarot, take you on a
journey of remembrance + reverence. The dirty + the divine.

Dirty & Divine provides a wonderful opportunity for
tarot lovers and spiritual souls. Real, raw, relatable and incredibly warm. You
feel as though you have a personal mentor and friend guiding you through the
magic and mystery of the tarot. Alice gives fresh insight to a loved esoteric
system along with real life reflections through her personal journey in her
life. The addition of ways you can work with each of the cards brings a
grounded understanding to the reader. Dirty & Divine is a book that will be
read more than once and have a well-loved place in my sacred library.

First - you have
my deepest sympathy because few things can be as traumatic. I know this because of my own suffering when my
brother took his life. I would like to
share some thoughts that may help you if a person close to you commits suicide
or if you want to aid someone in that situation.
While you may
feel isolated in your pain and confusion, know that you are not alone - even if
some people you thought you could count on quietly distance themselves from
your grief. In the United
States over 42,000 people (one person every
13 minutes) committed suicide in 2014. This is the highest rate in over thirty years,
and even this number seriously underreports the problem due to the stigma
attached to this act. It is the third leading cause of death in 10 to 14 year
old children and no age group is immune. Suicide has tripled in recent years in
If suicide takes
someone close to you, it is likely that you will experience a barge of intermixed
and intense feelings including shock, disbelief, sadness, guilt, and even anger.
Depending on your relationship with the deceased and your own circumstances,
these feeling may go on much longer than you think is normal or possible. There
is no magic year of mourning and grief may resurface throughout life. There
will probably be agonizing questions, that have no satisfactory answer such as:
"What could I, who loved this person, have done differently?"
essential to your own sanity and wellbeing to hold yourself, perhaps for a very
long time, in greatest compassion and
care. You will need to enlist support from your spiritual life, the beauty of
nature, others who have experienced loss, and hopefully the safety and support
of your immediate family and friends. It will call upon all your strength so
that you will endure, and flexibility so that you will bend and not break.
Blaming yourself or others, including the person who took their own life will
not help. Yet secrecy and blame are
societies main response to this heartache. Keep your internal compass pointed
toward healing and know even while shrouded in grief's dark cocoon that we are
resilient creatures and can re-emerge, never the same, but with great lightness
of heart and richness of spirit. This is surely a sign that we are magical
have led me to believe that the act of suicide can span a vast set of differing
circumstances, from removing oneself a few weeks early from terminal cancer
pain, through acts that seem terribly impulsive, through plans extending years
to end life if one's struggles do not abate, to getting so exhausted by
depression and lack of sleep that one simply doesn't have the will to go on, to
bursts of rage expressed as murder/suicide. Given this huge diversity of
circumstances it is nonsensical to assume that the act of suicide is met on the
other side, in the world of spirit with a uniform response.
But some things seem
universally awaiting on the other side, principally: unlimited compassion, deepest respect for the
individual, no judgment and condemnation, and efforts to care for the person's
spiritual health and growth. No one goes to hell for all eternity but it can be
a challenge to extricate a person from hellish thoughts of their own making. Efforts
by what we may call angelic forces to help the person are varied and creative.
For a person who takes his or her life in great turmoil, help may include
putting the newly arrive soul in a type of comma so while they are nearly
unconscious, work can be done at relieving
some of the limiting beliefs and dark emotions that they may be carrying.
souls will awaken and be held compassionately as they review their lives. Given
that such a review can generate intense regret, support is provided so that
they can process their emotions while knowing that they are loved. They have
the opportunity to learn by understanding what might have happened if they
chose to stay in the physical and if they had adopted different behaviors and perceptions. Suffice it to say that however complex and
individualized their experience on the other side will be, my explorations indicate
that your loved one will be cared for with extreme compassion and intelligence
while at all times the choices of their soul are respected. You can trust that
eventually all death leads to light.
You may have
ability to help them while you are still living here. Most religions endorse
praying for the dead as something that can help their transition to this new
state of being. It seems our energy can
be transferred to them. As your agitation settles you may be able to receive
messages from them that may come in dreams, or as feelings, thoughts, or signs.
These messages are often very consoling. The soul may try to reach back and
help comfort you or undo some of the pain that their leaving has caused. It can
be helpful for you to affirm that love can pierce any veil, see them in their
highest and finest light, and trust that they will be cared for on their
take care of yourself. For me it is helpful to see my own heart as a vast ocean
where, much like putting a hand in water, people come into my life and are
fully enveloped in my love. If they leave, my ocean heart goes back to complete
perhaps losing a drop. This works better for me than to think of my heart as a
broken vessel, though with suicide it can feel like that for quite a long while.

This went WAY longer than two minutes (sorry) but there is
just so much BAD information out there that I have to combat in order to help
you get results that I ranted a bit (a few times). But someone (who actually
knows what they are doing) has to.
Okay, so, this video is on tarot manifestation. It is a
quickie overview of what you will find in the black book (Advanced Tarot
Secrets, just $20 on Amazon). Also in this I give you key secrets that have
worked for me, and according to my testimonials they have worked for my
students: Remember—your results will LWAYS be your own and no one can guarantee
you miracles. Anyway, ten minutes of solid information. I know that is an
eternity on Youtube, but if you want to know the REAL secrets of REAL magic they
don't come in a 99 cent ebook or a magic pill. You have to do the work and you
need a great teacher. This is a taste of that. Take notes.

In Victorian England,
and in other cultures, flowers were used to convey specific meanings and

Are you in love with the Victorian Era? If you love all things Victorian (as I do)
you will just love this super pretty and very charming deck set. The box has a flip lid that is attached at
the back so you will never lose your lid.
The box itself is pretty with English, antique flowers adoring the
front. The pale green dominates the
drawstring bag, the card backs and the majority of the box. This is the same green that would be found in
Victorian England. The foldout- The Secret Language of Flowers- sheet
is very handy for quickly looking up your flower and its meaning.
In the included guidebook Lynn shares her love of vintage florals
and gives us an idea of her collections.
There are 44 cards in the deck and each card has a picture
of a flower on it. At the top of the
card we see the common and Latin name.
Below the image are keywords and a quotation to describe the symbolism
of the flower. In the back of the guidebook Lynn shares how to read with the

I really like the Three

these spreads three cards are used and laid out in the shape of a Fleur Dis

beautiful deck and make it a part of your reading style.
I chose the Pansy
in a random draw:
(This card always reminds me of my grandmother who crossed
over a very long time ago.)
“Pray you love, remember.
And there are pansies, that’s for thoughts.”
According to legend, pansies were originally white but were
later colored purple by Cupid. Even with
its velvety purple petals, the modest pansy does not demand attention; it
simply asks to be kept in your thoughts.
In fact, the name pansy comes from the French word pensees, which means “thoughts”. The pansy was a popular flower during the
Elizabethan era, and is mentioned often by Shakespeare. It also held great
appeal for the Victorians, who saw it as a symbol of tender attachment and

Now you can understand Tarot in just minutes with this new
reading system that allows you to interpret what each card means based on its

keywords, time frames, and eight meanings. There is no confusion about what the
card s mean when placed in the reading spread, as each meaning is written on
each card! Also, included is a guidebook that leads you through the 78 cards'
deeper meanings. Your reading will address who you are, your distant and recent

and your future. It's very simple: shuffle the deck, lay out your eight-card
spread, read the messages for each card shown. And that's it! Tarot at your
fingertips! (Fun and accurate for anyone, at any stage of learning the Tarot.)

message. Then turn to the companion guide for a fuller explanation. This deck
and guide incorporate insights from a variety of sources, such as Christianity,
Hinduism, Judaism (Tanakh, Talmud, Zohar), Jungian psychology, and Twelve-Step

exercises, mantras, prayers, and visualizations. Written and illustrated by a
rabbi who is also an intuitive and a psychotherapist, these messages will
resonate with you on your pathway through life. Use this deck and guide as a
